Politics

I think regardless of your beliefs that alot of people can agree that too many people let their emotions get in the way of voting properly. It often feels like people forget we’re talking about laws that should keep the country you live in stable and the people in it safe.

The law isn’t about right or wrong. About beliefs, it’s about what’s practical. Sure the idea of taking away rights from example serial killers sounds great on paper until you realise that the goverment can apply it to every criminal. Whether it was assualt or just petty theft. If you’re wrongly convicted the goverment could just use the same logic on you.

Just wish some people thought their choices thru. You can believe what you want but the law is suppose to protect everyone, not just you. The law doesn’t exist in a vacuum and people seem to forget that when talking about politics.

climate change

This has gotten so bad.

I remember as a child i occasionally got snow in the winter, a crap ton of rain during the year, and max 1 week during the summer where it’s like 25 degrees celius but now?

I got snow during the freaking spring, multiple times. There are multiple weeks in the summer going towards 30 degrees. Sometimes during spring and fall the weather switched from rain to sunny to hail to dubble rainbow within one day!

I can’t even imagine what gen alpha idea will be of weather and seasons.

chat gpt (ai in general)

So this has been floating around the internet a lot. I feel like this is a more open minded take about the study since it’s still the first in something really new and needs more research.

And this is a more practical approach in my opinion. Letting ai do all the hard work is like going to the gym and letting your spotter do all the heavy lifting. You’re not gaining any muscles so why bother? Schools in the future will probably forced make all their students write the essays in school since you can’t accurately regulated it any other way. What do you think?

Random book idea

A sociopath learning to love and care, a real person with antisocial personality disorder. I always found how Hollywood turn these real people with real conditions into villians and monster not just cruel, but a boring take as well. In real life people with these conditions don’t have any emotions, but it’s ‘lessened’ due to how certain parts of the brain work differently.

I think a romance story where they constantly switch between the lovers povs (point of view) where the person with the disorder and a ‘normal’ person would be far more interesting. Cause unlike what the stereotype suggest these people do care, just in a different way. They’re normal people, siblings, friends, partners, even parents who raise functioning members or society.

This disorder shouldn’t be treated as term to describe every bad person, but it’s hard to shake off when media shoves it in your face so much. Sometimes i catch myself doing it.
